Synopsis
A fashion designer from New York, Melanie Carmichael, unexpectedly becomes engaged to a wealthy man. However, she is still legally married to her high school husband, Jake, who won't grant her a divorce. Melanie decides to return to her hometown in Alabama to confront her past and resolve the situation with Jake.
