Synopsis
In the face of relentless attacks from monstrous beings known as Angels, U.N. Special Agency NERV enlists two new EVA pilots, Makinami Mari Illustrous and Asuka Langley Shikinami, to protect Tokyo-3. Amidst this, Gendo Ikari and SEELE work on a clandestine project involving Rei and Shinji.
