Synopsis
A cutting-edge Soviet nuclear submarine, the Red October, is believed to be on a threatening course towards the U.S. coast under Captain Ramius. CIA analyst Jack Ryan believes Ramius is defecting, and races against time to find and prove it amidst a hectic search.
