Synopsis
Former London police officer Nicholas Angel struggles to adjust to his new quiet post in the village of Sandford. Missing the city's action and stuck with a clumsy partner, he becomes suspicious when a string of sinister incidents occur, sensing a dark secret beneath the village's peaceful facade.
