Synopsis
In 1347 Garfagnana, Italy, the attractive servant Masseto seeks refuge in a nunnery. Three young nuns, Sister Alessandra, Sister Ginevra, and Sister Fernanda, are baffled by their life's purpose. Each nun struggles with this dilemma in her own unique manner.
