Synopsis
Lady Susan Vernon, a charming and deceptive woman, goes to her in-laws’ estate to avoid gossip and secure suitors for herself and her daughter. Her schemes are disrupted by Reginald DeCourcy and Sir James Martin, causing complications in her matchmaking efforts.
