Synopsis
In 1971, George Khan, a fish-and-chip shop owner in Salford, expects his family to adhere to his strict Pakistani Muslim beliefs. However, his children, who have an English mother and were raised in Britain, begin to rebel against his cultural expectations in favor of embracing their British identity.
