Synopsis
A young aspiring singer in Germany, Ernst Schrämli, gets involved in illegal activities to escape a stifling environment. Manipulated by a Nazi spy, he sells military information and is ultimately caught, convicted of espionage, and becomes the first Swiss citizen to be executed.
