Sa Bang-ji

Sa Bangji, an intersex individual living in Korea's Joseon Dynasty, is taken in by a benefactor and resides in a monastery. When a young widow named Lee So-sa visits, a deep connection forms between them, leading to a transformative and perilous relationship. The film depicts the struggles faced by intersex people without shying away from the harsh stigma.
