Synopsis
Set in Turkmenistan during the Russian Civil War, Red Army soldier Sukhov is roped into protecting women from a Basmachi guerrilla leader's harem. After the commander leaves to pursue the guerrillas, Sukhov and the women find themselves in a nearby town where the guerrillas eventually catch up.
