Synopsis
Danton and Robespierre were once friends who fought in the French Revolution, but by 1793, Robespierre's Reign of Terror sought to eliminate opposition through mass executions. Danton, known as a voice for the people, returned to Paris to challenge Robespierre, leading to his own capture and execution.
