Synopsis
During World War II, a German U-boat sinks in Canada's Hudson Bay, prompting a group of German soldiers led by Lieutenant Hirth to try to escape to the neutral United States. They meet courageous individuals such as a fur trapper, a farmer, an author, and a soldier on their journey.
