Synopsis
In 1930s Italy, Luca, whose mother just died, is sent to live with Mary Wallace and her friends. Mary, Arabella, Elsa, and Georgie, cultured women, watch over Luca. Their lives change dramatically when Allied forces go to war against Mussolini's fascist regime.
