Synopsis
In the conservative setting of 17th century Boston, Hester Prynne faces social ostracism for conceiving a child with a revered minister. Despite refusing to disclose the father's identity, she endures public shame by wearing a scarlet letter "A," until a common threat challenges strict Puritan beliefs.
