Synopsis
Heidi, an orphan taken by her indifferent Aunt Dete to live with her recluse and grumpy grandfather in the mountains, charms him with her kindness. When Dete takes Heidi away to be a companion for a wealthy man's daughter, the grandfather is devastated and determined to bring Heidi back.
