Synopsis
Ning Tsai-Shen, a modest tax collector, seeks refuge in the Lan Ro temple after being rejected by the townspeople. Inside, he encounters the Taoist Swordsman Yen Che-Hsia and the enchanting Nieh Hsiao-Tsing, with whom he develops feelings.
