Synopsis
Renowned surgeon Tomas meets photographer Tereza and brings her to Prague, where she discovers his affair with Sabina. Soviet invasion prompts escape to Switzerland. Sabina and Tomas take up affairs, and Tereza leaves in disgust. Tomas follows, regretting his actions.
