Synopsis
Titled after an old Japanese term for supernatural tales, this collection retells four folk stories. A samurai marries for wealth with disastrous consequences. A man is rescued by Yuki the Snow Maiden, but must pay a price. Hoichi the blind musician entertains ghostly spectators. An author narrates a tale of a samurai witnessing a reflected warrior.
