Synopsis
Lieutenant Commander Tom Dodge, a nonconformist navy officer, dreams of commanding a nuclear submarine. To prove himself, he is assigned to the outdated Stingray with a dysfunctional crew by Admiral Graham, who is determined to sabotage Dodge's career by setting him up for failure.
