Synopsis
In ancient Korea in 1762, the Crown Prince Hyojang, also known as Sado, was accused of treason by his father, King Yeongjo of Joseon. Instead of allowing him to commit suicide, the king ordered him to endure confinement in a wooden rice chest without food or water.
