Synopsis
In 1839, on a journey from Cuba to America, Cinque leads a slave uprising on the Amistad ship. After being captured in Connecticut, freed slave Theodore Joadson enlists help from lawyer Roger Baldwin and, later, John Quincy Adams in the fight for their release.
