Synopsis
In 2199, Earth is under attack by the Gamilons, forcing humanity underground. Former pilot Susumu Kodai finds a message from Iscandar about a way to save Earth from radiation. The Earth Defense Force rebuilds Yamato with new propulsion to journey 148,000 light years in one year to save humanity.
