Synopsis
Jo Ann Foley, 14, lives in poverty in the South during WWII. Abused by her bootlegging grandfather, she's forced into prostitution like her mother. Finding solace with Honey and Too Tall, a loving African American couple, Jo Ann experiences kindness and acceptance.
