Synopsis
After a Dalit becomes mayor in a village, riots force a poor couple to flee to Calcutta in hopes of finding work. Homeless, they agree to help a man by taking his pigs across a dangerous river, despite the wife's pregnancy, showing their determination in a harsh situation.
