Synopsis
Laxmi and Kishtaya live in poverty in an Indian village, working for a wealthy landlord. When the landlord's son Surya returns home to manage the estate and marry Saroj, their life takes a dark turn after Kishtaya is caught stealing and disappears, leaving Laxmi alone.
