Synopsis
Set in 1857 India under British rule, the film follows Mangal Pandey, an Indian sepoy serving in the East India Company's army. During the Anglo-Afghan Wars, Pandey saves his British officer's life, leading to a deep bond between them that surpasses social and racial barriers.
