Synopsis
A geologist takes his children into the Australian outback under the guise of a picnic, but tries to harm them. Failing, he tries to end his own life. The children, city-raised, must survive the harsh wilderness. A chance meeting with an Aboriginal boy teaches them about survival and the divide between nature and modern society.
